Good writing is one that gives you pause, and have you connect to other parts of your life and this definitely fits the bill!

I think deep listening is one of the most complex skills to develop. We are so normalized and incentized to jump into conversations, to contribute, to come up with ideas, quick quips, connecting the dots for survival, relevance, advancement that this feels like quite the forgotteen art. To build on what you said about being "curious instead of certain", it requires at least for me a fair bit of emotional, intellectual security and more importantly, faith that stuff will emerge....

Faith links directly to the curious over certainty that you are talking about and it's hard especially in a world where we are driven to reduce uncertainty in our everyday lives...
